Ronnie lebte sein Leben auf der Überholspur, nachdem er 1956 seine Plattenkarriere mit Pretty Bad Blues begonnen hatte. 1957 und 1958 nahm er Rockabilly Klassiker auf wie Bop-A-Lena, Ain't I'm A Dog, Date Bait und die Original Version von Big Blon' Baby auf. Bear Family hat dieses Set mit seinen Decca/Kapp Aufnahmen von 1956 bis 1963 abgerundet, etwas ruhiger aber immer noch wild und aufregend. Ronnie lived his life in overdrive after starting his recording career in 1956 with a case of Pretty Bad Blues. In 1957 and 1958, he cut rockabilly classics like Bop-a-Lena, Ain't I'm A Dog, Date Bait, and the original version of Big Blon' Baby. Bear Family rounded out the set with his Decca/Kapp recordings from 1956 to 1963, a little quieter, but still weird and exciting. Check out Ugly Stick, So High, Go Go Cannibal or Moon Burn.
