Michael “Ele” Koch, von The Lennerockers sagt: Leute kommen und gehen! Stefan Pfeifer bleibt!
Ob Badland Slingers, Jimmy Castle & The Knights, Wildcats, Lou Cifer & The Hellions, Jungle Tigers, u.s.w.
Coole Nummer!

Michael “Ele” Koch from The Lennerockers goes:
People come and go! Stefan Pfeifer’s here to stay!
He is a constant, who shows up regularly with new projects that enriches the Rock‘n’Roll scene.
We know and respect each other now for more than 20 years, and every time I want to ask “Has anybody heard something about Stefan Pfeifer lately?’’, we meet on a festival somewhere in Europe or I have a new disc in my hands where he’s on.
If it’s Badland Slingers, Jimmy Castle & The Knights, Wildcats, Lou Cifer & The Hellions, Jungle Tigers, etc. ........its impressing, how many records I have, where Stefan Pfeifer played the drums.
On the longplayer “Das Beste des deutschen Rockabilly 1995” we’re even on together. The Lennerockers and Stefan’s project Pfeifer und Leiche.
But now to the brandnew production, that’s runnig in my player. “Why waltz when you can Rock‘n’Roll?” is the title of the new cd by Warren Ace & The Dukes, on which Stefan is not only playing the drums, he also takes the leadvocals! And that’s brilliant!
Listening to the sound of the voice, “Stig Rune Reiten” from Teencats comes to my mind at once, especially on “Tell Me”, one of my favourites on this longplayer.
Melodic Rock‘n’Roll with great backing vocals is my cup of tea. This Cd shows a great variety of musical influences, from Johnny Cash over Elvis to the Black Knights, which all come together to a good rocking, unique sound.
Most of the tracks are down to earth self-penned songs, proving that real life still has the best stories to tell.
“Our Dream Is Gone” is a good combination of british groove, spanish guitar and creates a rough, dark atmosphere. Cool number!
Both of my daughters, Celina (9) and Jolene (7), are sitting at the kitchen table painting pictures. “Everybody Dance” is coming out of the speakers. Even in deep thoughts they both sing along to the Buddy Holly styled backing vocals “bop-bop-bopbop”.
So that song is doing fine, too!
Stefan, I really wish you and your band lots of success with this new CD.
We’ll see us somewhere soon in the name of Rock‘n’Roll!
Now I have to finish up, because my girls want to listen to the “bop-bop-bopbop” song another time, so I’m on my way to put it on again......!!
