Rock is here to stay...rock and roll is here to stay...and now...rock and roll all night long! Cosh Boys surely are born to rock and roll and this new four track EP proves it perfectly.
First track is originally written and recorded by the Matchbox. It was their first record, which came out at 1975, just when bubble gum glam rock music was dominating the music charts. Cosh Boys version here proves not only by it’s title, but music wise too, that good old rock and roll music is timeless and can move and groove anytime, anyplace and anywhere. But just be sure to wear your blue jeans on when you are bopping this one on a hardwood floor.
Eddie Cochran classic rockin’ song is given here speeded up version. It bops along relentlessly with it’s mid 70’s British rockin’ billy sound. Surely get your feet stomping’ along this crazy rhythm. Next one is guitar instrumental version of this great song, which is recorded by many. Original is by handy man Jimmy Jones, but most well known version is by British Billy Fury. Here we have the rendition which owes a bit to Dee Jays’ version, which is a masterpiece of it’s own.
Last but not least on the record is it’s title song, self written and arranged by the band. This moody danceable stroller tells a story about all night cafe, where rock and roll is played by the bands and dee jays all through the night...rock and roll...all night long !
